Experience
I have numerous professional experiences that qualify me to be a tutor including being a staff writer and associate editor at a monthly newspaper. I have had years of liberal arts education in every major social science except economics. I received an "A" on nearly every paper I wrote, and I completed twice the amount of upper division ("hard" classes) coursework than my degree required. I also have training in the hard sciences and a solid grounding in medical science, including neuroscience and anatomy and physiology. I also have years of experience with coaching, mentoring and guiding people with disabilities to overcome challenges and reach their goals. I believe in team work. That means I will partner with you to meet your goals, not dictate what you should or should not do about any given challenge. I am a "big picture" person who can help you identify strengths and challenges, and set realistic goals. I am a respectful, compassionate person with excellent communication skills.
